Abstract
【解決手段】磁気共鳴イメージング(MRI)デバイスは、、磁場を発生させるためのマグネット・アセンブリと、患者位置決めエリア(13)と、この患者位置決めエリアの近傍にある、マグネット・アセンブリが発生させた磁場の存在に応答して磁場傾斜を発生させるように構成した第1の傾斜コイル・アセンブリと、マグネット・アセンブリ(12)の近傍にある、内側傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(16)により発生させた磁場傾斜がMRIデバイスから外方に放射されないように阻止するように構成した第2の傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(14)と、第1と第2の傾斜コイル・アセンブリの間に挟み込んだ減衰層(22)と、を含む。

Claims (10)
- 患者位置決めエリア(13)の近傍にある内側傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(16)と、
マグネット・アセンブリ(12)の近傍にある外側傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(14)と、
前記内側と外側の傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(16と14)の間に挟み込んだ減衰層(22)と、
を備える磁気共鳴イメージング(MRI)デバイス(10)。 - 前記減衰層(22)が2つの粘弾性層(26と28)の間に挟み込んだ少なくとも1つの高弾性率円筒(24)を備えている、請求項1に記載のMRIデバイス(10)。
- 前記高弾性率円筒(24)がセラミック、ガラスフィラメント巻きチューブ、炭素ファイバ、及び高弾性率を示す別の非導体材料のうちの少なくとも1つから構成されている、請求項2に記載のMRIデバイス(10)。
- 前記粘弾性層(26と28)の各々がゴム、発泡体及び減衰係数が高い別の材料のうちの少なくとも1つから構成されている、請求項2に記載のMRIデバイス(10)。
- さらに、前記外側傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(14)と前記マグネット・アセンブリ(12)の間に位置決めした少なくとも1つの追加の減衰層(22)を備える請求項1に記載のMRIデバイス(10)。
- さらに、前記内側傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(16)と前記患者位置決めエリア(13)の間に位置決めした少なくとも1つの追加の減衰層(22)を備える請求項1に記載のMRIデバイス(10)。
- 前記減衰層(22)が複数の高弾性率円筒(24)を備えており、かつ前記複数の高弾性率円筒(24)の各々が少なくとも2つの粘弾性層(26と28)の間に位置決めされている、請求項1に記載のMRIデバイス(10)。
- 前記内側傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(16)は前記マグネット・アセンブリ(12)が発生させた磁場の存在に応答して磁場傾斜を発生させており、かつ前記外側傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(14)は前記内側傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(16)の発生させた前記磁場傾斜がMRIデバイス(10)から外方に放射されないようにシールドしている、請求項1に記載のMRIデバイス(10)。
- 磁気共鳴イメージング(MRI)デバイス(10)を製造する方法であって、
第1の傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(14)と第2の傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(16)の間にスペースを形成させる工程と、
前記スペース内に液体粘弾性材料を流し込む工程と、
前記第1の傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(14)と前記第2の傾斜コイル・アセンブリ(16)の間に減衰層(22)を形成させるために、前記液体粘弾性材料を前記スペース内部で固化させるようにする工程と、
を含む製造方法。 - 前記流し込み工程の前に前記スペース内に少なくとも1つの高弾性率円筒(24)を位置決めする工程をさらに含む請求項9に記載の方法。
