Abstract
【解決手段】エンジンの出力(S202)と排気空燃比(S201)とからマップ(S203)を参照してエンジンの単位時間当たりの排気微粒子排出量を求める。微粒子捕集フィルタの温度(S204)と排気流量(S205)とから、マップ(S206)を参照して、NOxによる排気微粒子の燃焼速度の基本値を求める。NOxトラップ触媒におけるNOx吸着割合を求め(S211〜S216)、これと排気空燃比とからマップ(S217)で補正係数を求め、燃焼速度の基本値に乗じる(S207)。補正された燃焼速度を、排気微粒子排出量から減算(S218)して、単位時間当たりの排気微粒子増減量を求め、これを順次積算(S224)して、排気微粒子堆積量(S227)とする。

- 排気通路に介装され、かつエンジンが排出する排気微粒子を捕集する微粒子捕集フィルタと、この微粒子捕集フィルタの上流側に配置され、かつ排気中のNOxを吸着するNOxトラップ触媒と、を備えてなるエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
エンジンの運転条件に基づきエンジンから排出される排気微粒子の量を求める排出量推定手段と、エンジンから排出されるNOxによって上記微粒子捕集フィルタの微粒子が燃焼する燃焼量を求める燃焼量推定手段と、上記NOxトラップ触媒のそのときのNOx吸着条件に応じて、上記燃焼量を補正する燃焼量補正手段と、上記排出量から補正された燃焼量を減じて微粒子捕集フィルタにおける微粒子堆積量を推定する堆積量推定手段と、を備えていることを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 排気通路に介装され、かつエンジンが排出する排気微粒子を捕集する微粒子捕集フィルタと、この微粒子捕集フィルタの上流側に配置され、かつ排気中のNOxを吸着するNOxトラップ触媒と、を備えてなるエンジンの排気浄化装置において、

- 上記燃焼量補正手段は、NOxトラップ触媒にそのときに吸着しているNOx量を推定する手段と、NOxトラップ触媒に吸着可能な最大のNOx量に対し、そのときに吸着しているNOx量が占める割合を求める手段と、この割合に応じて、燃焼量を補正する手段と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
- NOxトラップ触媒の強制的な再生時における排気微粒子の燃焼量を求める第2の燃焼量推定手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
- 推定した微粒子堆積量が所定量に達したときに、微粒子捕集フィルタの強制的な再生を行う再生手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
- 排気通路に介装され、かつエンジンが排出する排気微粒子を捕集する微粒子捕集フィルタと、この微粒子捕集フィルタの上流側に配置され、かつ排気中のNOxを吸着するNOxトラップ触媒と、を備えてなるエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
エンジンの出力と空燃比とから単位時間当たりの微粒子排出量を求め、
微粒子捕集フィルタの温度と排気流量とからNOxによる単位時間当たりの基本的な微粒子燃焼量を求めるとともに、NOxトラップ触媒におけるそのときのNOx吸着割合に応じて、この微粒子燃焼量を補正し、
上記微粒子排出量から上記微粒子燃焼量を減じて、微粒子堆積量の単位時間当たりの増減量を求め、
この増減量を積算して、微粒子捕集フィルタにおける微粒子堆積量を求めることを特徴とする微粒子捕集フィルタにおける微粒子堆積状態判定方法。 - 上記微粒子燃焼量の補正の際に、さらにエンジンの空燃比による補正を行うことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の微粒子捕集フィルタにおける微粒子堆積量状態判定方法。
