Abstract

Claims (32)
- 流体試料中の分析対象物の測定に使用するための試験片であって、
上部及び下部を有するベースと、
前記ベースの前記上部と前記下部との間に延びる収集チャンバと、
前記収集チャンバを取り囲む、前記ベースの前記下部に配置された収容リングと、
前記収集チャンバに流動的に結合された入口を有する、前記ベースの前記上部に形成された毛管路と、
前記毛管路内に配置された試験要素と、
前記収集チャンバ、試験膜及び前記毛管路の少なくとも一部を覆う、前記ベースの前記上部に取り付けられたふたと、
を含む試験片。 - 前記ふたが実質的に光学的に透明な材料で構成されている、請求項1記載の試験片。
- 前記ふたが実質的に非孔質の材料で構成されている、請求項1記載の試験片。
- 前記試験要素が、前記流体試料中の分析対象物の濃度を示す反応を生じさせるための試薬を含む、請求項1記載の試験片。
- 前記分析対象物がグルコースである、請求項4記載の試験片。
- 前記試料が血液である、請求項4記載の試験片。
- 穿刺装置と組み合わされている、請求項1記載の試験片。
- 前記毛管路の少なくとも一部に配置された親水性被覆を含む、請求項1記載の試験片。
- 前記試験要素が前記ふたに取り付けられている、請求項1記載の試験片。

収集チャンバと前記収集チャンバに流動的に結合された毛管路とを含み、前記毛管路内に配置され、前記収集チャンバと流通する試験要素を含み、前記収集チャンバ及び前記毛管路の少なくとも一部の上に配置されるふたを含み、前記引き込み位置と前記伸展位置との間で動くとき前記ランセットが前記ふたを穿刺し、前記収集チャンバの中を延びる、前記エンドキャップ内に配置された試験片と、
を含む装置。 - 前記試験片が、被験者の皮膚と接触するための、前記試験片の底から外に延びる収容リングを含む、請求項14記載の装置。

- 収集チャンバと、収集区域を取り囲む収容リングと、前記収集区域に流動的に結合された毛管路と、前記収集チャンバ及び前記毛管路の少なくとも一部の上に配置されたふたとを含む試験片を有し、引き込み位置と伸展位置との間で動くとき前記ふたを穿刺し、前記収集チャンバの中を延びるように適合されたランセットを有する穿刺・採取装置を用いて被験者の皮膚を穿刺し、体液試料を採取する方法であって、
前記試験片の前記収容リングを被験者の皮膚の上に配置するステップと、
前記収容リングの周囲によって画定される被験者の皮膚の区域を穿刺するステップと、
穿刺部位で得られた体液試料を前記収容リングの周囲内に維持するステップと、
穿刺部位で得られた前記体液試料を前記試験片で収集するステップと、
前記収集チャンバからの体液の少なくとも一部を前記ふたによって前記毛管路の入口の方向に向けるステップと、
を含む方法。 - 収集した体液試料中の分析対象物の濃度を計測することを含む、請求項30記載の方法。
- 計測が、収集した体液試料中の分析対象物を試薬と反応させることをさらに含み、前記試薬が、前記試験片の前記毛管路中に受けられた試験要素上に配置されている、請求項31記載の方法。
