Abstract
【解決手段】アレイ基板とカラーフィルター基板とそれらの間に液晶層を介在させて合着形成された液晶パネル、液晶パネルのソース部及びゲート部に付着されゲート及びソースドライバーICが搭載された復数個のソースTCP及びゲートTCP、ソースドライバーICに駆動信号を印加するソースPCB、ソースPCBからの信号をゲートTCPの駆動信号の配線を経てゲートドライバーICに印加するため形成されたLOG配線を備え、液晶パネル縁部のアレイ基板カラーフィルター基板間にトランスファーが形成されカラーフィルター基板にコモン電圧が印加されるようにしたゲートPCB及びFPCがない液晶表示装置であり、LOG配線はトランスファーが相互連結するコモン配線がなく、ゲートドライバーICの駆動信号配線で構成する。

Description
まず、図4は、従来技術に従った液晶表示装置のコモン配線を説明するための平面図であり、図4に示すように、従来の液晶表示装置液晶では、液晶パネルの左側下端に形成された第1トランスファー(A)にコモン信号(Vcom)を伝達するためにゲートPCB2と液晶パネル内のコモン配線10とを利用する。この時、カラーフィルター基板8にコモン電圧を印加するためにコモン信号(Vcom)が第1トランスファー(A)に伝達される。

Claims (2)
- アレイ(array)基板とカラーフィルター基板とが、それらの間に液晶層を介在させて合着し形成された液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルのソース(source)部及びゲート(gate)部に各々付着されゲート及びソースドライバーICが搭載された復数個のソースTCP(Tape Carrier Package)及びゲートTCPと、
前記ソースTCPと連結されてソースドライバーICに所定の駆動信号を印加するソースPCB(Printed Circuit Board)と、
前記ソースPCBからの信号を前記ゲートTCPに具備された駆動信号の配線を経てゲートドライバーICに印加するために前記液晶パネルに形成されたLOG(Line On Glass)配線とを備え、
前記液晶パネル縁部の前記アレイ基板カラーフィルター基板間にトランスファー(transfer)が形成されてカラーフィルター基板にコモン(common)電圧が印加されるようにしたゲートPCB及びFPCがない液晶表示装置であって、
前記LOG配線はトランスファーが相互に連結するためのコモン配線がなく、前記ゲートドライバーICの駆動信号配線で構成することを特徴とするゲートPCB及びFPCがない液晶表示装置。 - 前記ゲートTCPは、コモン配線がなく、駆動信号の配線で構成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲートPCB及びFPCがない液晶表示装置。
