Claims (5)
- 다수의 전압 배선을 통하여 전달된 게이트 전압에 의해 턴 온 또는 턴 오프되는 박막 트랜지스터와, 상기 박막 트랜지스터의 턴 온 여부에 따라 선택적으로 구동되는 화소를 포함하는 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,상기 박막 트랜지스터의 구동을 제어하는 제 1 및 제 2 게이트 전압을 출력하는 게이트 전압 발생부와,상기 다수의 전압 배선을 통하여 상기 제 1 및 제 2 게이트 전압을 수신하고, 상기 제 1 게이트 전압과 상기 제 2 게이트 전압 간의 차이를 나타내는 피드백 신호와, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 게이트 전압을 출력하는 다수의 게이트 IC를 포함하며,상기 게이트 전압 발생부는 상기 각각의 게이트 IC로부터 수신되는 피드백 신호를 비교하여, 상기 각각의 게이트 IC에서 출력되는 피드백 신호가 모두 동일하도록 제 1 게이트 신호 또는 제 2 게이트 신호를 변경하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 다수의 전압 배선은,상기 게이트 전압 발생부와 상기 다수의 게이트 IC 사이에 연결되어 제 1 게이트 전압을 상기 다수의 게이트 IC로 전달하는 제 1 전압 배선;상기 게이트 전압 발생부와 상기 각각의 게이트 IC 사이에 연결되어 제 2 게이트 전압을 상기 각각의 게이트 IC로 전달하는 제 2 전압 배선; 및상기 게이트 전압 발생부와 상기 제 2 전압 배선 사이에 연결되어 상기 각각의 게이트 IC에서 출력된 피드백 신호를 상기 게이트 전압 발생부로 전달하는 제 3 전압 배선;을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 각각의 게이트 IC는 제 1 게이트 전압과 제 2 게이트 전압 간의 차이를 디지털 신호로 변환하여 상기 게이트 전압 발생부로 전달하는 피드백 신호 발생부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 게이트 전압 발생부는,상기 각각의 게이트 IC에서 인가된 디지털 신호를 수신하여, 상기 각각의 디지털 신호를 아날로그 신호로 변환하는 신호 변환부;상기 신호 변환부에서 변환된 각각의 아날로그 신호를 서로 비교하여, 상기 각각의 게이트 IC마다 피드백 신호가 동일하도록 상기 제 2 게이트 전압을 변경하는 비교 판단부; 및상기 비교 판단부에서 변경된 각 게이트 IC의 제 2 게이트 전압을 해당 게이트 IC로 출력하는 출력부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 게이트 전압은 상기 박막 트랜지스터를 턴 온시키는 전압이고, 상기 제 2 게이트 전압은 상기 박막 트랜지스터를 턴 오프시키는 전압인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
