(57)【要約】 【課題】 本発明は、使用後、容易に再利用を図ること
ができるテント生地を提供することを課題とするもので
ある。 【解決手段】 テント生地を、ケナフ繊維を含む繊維糸
の織物で構成し、前記繊維糸は、ケナフ繊維を１０重量
％以上含んでいる。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、ドーム型野球場な
どの各種競技場の屋根や、運動会などに用いられる小型
テントの屋根や、付帯設備及び博覧会展示場などの屋根
及び壁などに用いられるテント生地に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】従来、
例えば、運動会に用いられる集会用天幕や、博覧会の大
型膜構造物の屋根材などとして用いられるテント生地
は、各種の合成繊維糸からなる織物に、防水性付与のた
め軟質塩化ビニル樹脂などを被覆したものが用いられて
いる。また、防炎性を付与するため、被覆樹脂にハロゲ
ンやリン化合物等が含有されたテント生地も用いられて
いる。
【０００３】しかしながら、かかる合成繊維糸からなる
テント生地は、使用後（劣化して使用できない状態）に
再生することが困難であるため、焼却処分とされる傾向
にあるが、焼却によるとダイオキシンなどの各種化学物
質や有害ガスの発生のおそれがある。そのため、従来、
テント生地は、産業廃棄物として埋め立て処分とされて
いることが多い。
【０００４】本発明は、上記の点に鑑み、使用後、容易
に再利用を図ることができるテント生地を提供すること
を課題とするものである。
【０００５】
【課題を解決するための手段】上記課題を解決する手段
として、本発明は、ケナフ繊維を含む繊維糸の織物から
なるテント生地を解決手段とする。さらに、前記繊維糸
は、ケナフ繊維を１０重量％以上含んでいるものが好ま
しい。
【０００６】かかるテント生地は、ケナフ繊維からなる
ので、使用後、紙として容易に再利用を図ることができ
る。
【０００７】
【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の実施形態に関して
説明する。本発明のテント生地は、ケナフ繊維を含む繊
維糸からなる織物によって構成されている。ケナフ繊維
は、ケナフ（アオイ科植物）から得られた繊維質をい
い、その原産地などは問わず、各種のものが使用でき
る。ケナフ繊維からなる繊維糸は、ケナフの繊維質のみ
から紡糸（ケナフ繊維が１００重量％）されていてもよ
いし、ケナフ以外の繊維との混紡糸であってもよい。ケ
ナフ以外の繊維としては、黄麻や綿などの他の天然繊維
や、ポリエステル（ＰＥＴ）などの合成繊維などを用い
ることができる。混紡糸を用いた場合に於けるケナフ繊
維とそれ以外の繊維の混合割合は、特に限定されない
が、ケナフ繊維が１０重量％以上、好ましくは５０重量
％以上が好ましい。
【０００８】上記ケナフを含む繊維糸は、公知の用法に
従い、原料ケナフを水に浸漬し、靭皮を分離し、これを
乾燥して靭皮繊維を得、適当な長さ（５０ｍｍ程度）に
切断し、これを紡績機にかけて紡糸することにより得る
ことができる。混紡糸にする際には、他の繊維を混合し
ながら紡績機にて紡糸する。
【０００９】得られた繊維糸は、公知の用法に従い、織
物に形成される。織り方は特に限定されず、通常の平織
りにすればよい。また、織物は、ケナフ繊維のみからな
る繊維糸のみで織られたものや、ケナフ繊維とそれ以外
の繊維との混紡糸のみで織られたものや、前記ケナフ繊
維のみからなる繊維糸と前記混紡糸とで織られたもの
や、前記ケナフ繊維のみからなる繊維糸又は／及び前記
混紡糸とケナフ繊維を含まない他の繊維糸とで織られた
ものなど各種の態様のものが例示される。尚、必要に応
じて、織物の少なくとも一面に防水処理や耐光処理など
の耐侯性処理や、防火防炎処理などを行ってもよい。
【００１０】かかるケナフ繊維を含む織物は、適宜の形
状に裁断されてテント生地として使用される。ケナフ
は、生長が早く、炭酸ガスの固定能に優れているので、
かかるケナフ繊維を用いたテント生地を使用すること
は、地球温暖化を間接的に抑制し、環境浄化に貢献でき
るものとなる。
【００１１】そして、本発明のテント生地は、長期間使
用して劣化したり、或いは一部破断したりして使用でき
なくなった後には、これを回収して紙に再生することが
可能である。紙への再生工程は、従来の用法に従い、廃
テント生地を適当な大きさに裁断し、ミキサーに投入し
て水と共に攪拌し、薬品を入れて加熱し、スクリーンに
通して粗ゴミを除去し、その後、再度スクリーンに通し
てシックナーで脱水処理を行い、古紙パルプを得る。こ
れを（必要に応じて新パルプを混合し）抄紙機を用いて
漉くことにより、再生紙が製造される。

【発明の効果】以上のように、本発明に係るテント生地
は、それを構成する繊維糸としてケナフ繊維を用いてい
るので、テント生地の使用後、容易に紙に再生使用する
ことができる。従って、従来のテント生地のように、廃
棄処分する必要性がなく、使用後の再利用を図り、省資
源化、環境保護に資するものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 ケナフ繊維を含む繊維糸の織物からなる
    ことを特徴とするテント生地。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記繊維糸が、ケナフ繊維を１０重量％
    以上含む請求項１記載のテント生地。
