Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. サーマルプリンタと、 サーマルプリンタに動作結合し、通常記録すべきカラーキャンバスに関わる記 録陰影の最大可能数に従って印字速度を変化させることにより、サーマルプリン タの印字速度を制御する制御プロセッサ、 とを具備する可変速度記録装置。 2. 印字速度を確定するために、 tpreheat shades=予備加熱サイクルの時間、 nshades=現在カラーキャンバスに関わる可能記録陰影の最大数、 tper shade=記録陰影当たりの時間(クロック速度)、及び K=オーバヘッド時間処理定数として、 印字速度=tpreheat shades+(nshades * tpershade)+K のアルゴリズムを利用する請求項1記載の装置。 3. 制御プロセッサは、記録を形成すべき半加工製品ごとにカラーキャンバス ごとの印字速度を調整する論理を含む請求項1記載の装置。 4. 制御プロセッサは、記録行ごとにカラーキャンバスごとの印字速度を調整 する論理を含む請求項1記載の装置。 5. 制御プロセッサは、ある記録行に記録を実行すべきでない場合にその記録 行を飛び越す論理を含む請求項1記載の装置。 6. 所定のカラーキャンバスの中の陰影値は、プリンタが記録を実行すべく構 成されている陰影の最大数に基づいて正規化される請求項1記載の装置。 7. サーマルプリンティングの速度を変化させる方法において、 予備加熱サイクルの時間であるtpreheat shadesを確定する過程と、 現在カラーキャンバスに関わる記録陰影の最大可能数であるnshadesを確 定する過程と、 記録陰影ごとの時間であるtper shadeを確定する過程と、 オーバヘッド時定数Kを確定する過程と、 印字速度=tpreheat shades+(nshades * tpershade)+Kに従って印字速 度を確定する過程とからなる方法。
