Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.C3-C5オレフィンとアラルキルヒドロペルオキシドを含有する混合物を、各 ゾーンに固体エポキシ化触媒の床を充填してある一連の独立した反応ゾーンの 中を昇温および昇圧の反応条件で通過させることを含んでなる、C3-C5オレフ ィンとアラルキルヒドロペルオキシドとの接触液相発熱反応方法において、以 下の改良点: (1)複数の独立した反応ゾーンを有する反応システムを用いること、 (2)オレフィンとヒドロペルオキシドとの低温供給物を反応システムに供 給し、そして反応システムで発生した反応熱の25〜75%を用いて、前記低温供 給物と反応システムからの再循環流との直接接触により前記低温供給物を予熱 すること、 (3)反応システムを通過する間に反応混合物の温度を20〜100°F上昇させ ることによる顕熱として、および反応システムから正味反応混合物の15〜40% を蒸気として取り出すことによる気化熱として、反応システムにおいて発生し た反応熱の25〜75%を取り出すこと、 を特徴とする方法。 2.プロピレンとエチルベンゼンヒドロペルオキシドを反応させてプロピレンオ キシドを生成させる、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.固体触媒がシリカ担持チタニア触媒である、請求項1に記載の方法。 4.(2)における前記再循環流がプロピレン蒸気流である、請求項1に記載の 方法。 5.(2)における前記再循環流が液体反応混合物流である、請求項1に記載の 方法。 6.C3-C5オレフィンとアラルキルヒドロペルオキシドを含有する混合物を、各 ゾーンに固体エポキシ化触媒の床を充填してある一連の独立した反応ゾーンの 中を昇温および昇圧の反応条件で通過させることを含んでなる、C3-C5オレフ ィンとアラルキルヒドロペルオキシドとの接触液相発熱反応のための反応シス テムであって、以下の改良点: (1)反応システムが複数の独立した反応ゾーンを有すること、 (2)反応システムで発生した反応熱の25〜75%を用いて、反応システムか らの再循環流との直接接触によりオレフィンとヒドロペルオキシドとの低温供 給物を予熱するための手段が設けられていること、 (3)反応システムを通過する間に反応混合物の発熱の25〜75%を、反応シ ステムからの正味反応混合物の温度を20〜100°F上昇させることにより、およ び正味反応混合物の15〜40%を気化させることにより、消費するための手段が 設けられていること、 を特徴とするシステム。 7.固体エポキシ化触媒がシリカ担持チタニアである、請求項6に記載のシステ ム。
