【請求項1】 核酸の検出方法であって、
レポーター基および消光基を含んでおり、配列Aと配列Cとの間に位置する第3配列(B)またはその相補体(B’)に結合することができる結合配列Dを有するプローブの存在下に5’ヌクレアーゼ活性を有するポリメラーゼを使用して、一方が、前記核酸の一方の鎖の第1結合配列(A)に結合することができる、かつもう一方が、Aの3’方向に位置し、Aと重複しない配列Cと本質的に相補的である第2結合配列(C’)に結合することができる、2つのプライマーの助けにより前記核酸の一部の多数の増幅物を作製する工程、並びに
レポーター基の解離により生ずるシグナルを測定することにより核酸を検出する工程、
を含み、
前記プライマーの助けにより形成される増幅物が、75ヌクレオチド未満の長さを有するものである、核酸の検出方法。
【請求項2】 プローブの結合配列Dがプライマーの結合配列の1つと重複しないものである請求項1記載の方法。_
