Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.i)エチレン/酸コポリマーもしくはこれらのイオノマー、またはエチレン /酸/アクリレートターポリマーもしくはこれらのイオノマー、またはエチレン /ビニルアセテートコポリマーを含み、残留酸を含有する熱可塑性組成物を調製 する工程と、 ii)5重量%よりも少ない酸化マグネシウムを含有し、シリカ/アルミナ比 率が100よりも小さく、8〜10オングストロームの公称孔径を有するアルミ ノケイ酸ナトリウムを含む親水性分子ふるいから選択される酸捕捉剤を、前記組 成物に添加する工程と、 を含むことを特徴とするエチレン/酸コポリマーから望ましくない酸またはアク リレートモノマーを除去する方法。 2.前記熱可塑性組成物が0.7デシグラム/分よりも大きいメルトフローイン デックス(MFI)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記エチレンコポリマーが、エチレン含量が少なくとも50%のエチレンア クリル酸またはエチレンメタクリル酸コポリマーから選択され、前記イオノマー が、コポリマーまたはターポリマー中の酸基の少なくとも5%が金属モノイオン または二価の金属イオンで中和され、エチレン含量が少なくとも60重量%であ る、エチレンとアクリル酸またはメタクリル酸のコポリマーまたはターポリマー から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 4.前記金属イオンが亜鉛またはナトリウムから選択され、前記金属による中和 総量が10から60%であって、前記イオノマーの酸含量が4から35重量%の 範囲にあり、任意選択でターポリマーが存在する場合には1〜30重量%の範囲 でアルキルアクリレートまたはメタクリレートまたはビニルアセテートから選択 され、前記イオノマーのエチレン含量が少なくとも60重量%であることを特徴 とする請求項3に記載の方法。 5.前記分子ふるいが水よりも酢酸を選択的に吸収することを特徴とする請求項 1に記載の方法。 6.前記シリカ/アルミナ比率が35よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に 記載の方法。 7.前記シリカ/アルミナ比率が3.0よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項6 に記載の方法。 8.i)エチレン/酸コポリマーまたはこれらのイオノマー、エチレン/酸/ア クリレートターポリマーまたはこれらのイオノマー、エチレン/ビニルアセテー トコポリマーの何れかを含み、残留酸を含有する熱可塑性組成物と、5重量%よ りも少ない酸化マグネシウムを含有し、シリカ/アルミナ比率が100よりも小 さく、8〜10オングストロームの公称孔径を有するアルミノケイ酸ナトリウム を含む親水性分子ふるいから選択される酸捕捉剤とを含む、フィルムまたは材料 を調製する工程と、 ii)前記フィルムまたは材料を用いて、酸感受性材料をパッケージすること 、を含むことを特徴とする酸感受性材料を包装または収容する方法。 9.前記イオノマーがエチレンとアクリル酸またはメタクリル酸とのコポリマー またはターポリマーから選択され、前記イオノマーの酸基の少なくとも5%が金 属モノイオンまたは二価の金属イオンで中和されており、エチレン含量が少なく とも60重量%であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。 10.前記酸感受性材料が縫合糸であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法 。 11.エチレン/酸コポリマーもしくはこれらのイオノマー、またはエチレン/ 酸/アクリレートターポリマーもしくはこれらのイオノマー、またはエチレン/ ビニルアセテートコポリマーを含む熱可塑性樹脂と、5重量%よりも少ない酸化 マグネシウムを含有し、シリカ/アルミナ比率が100よりも小さく、8〜10 オングストロームの公称孔径を有するアルミノケイ酸ナトリウムを含む親水性分 子ふるいから選択される酸捕捉剤を含むことを特徴とする熱可塑性組成物。 12.前記シリカ/アルミナ比率が35よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1 1に記載の組成物。 13.前記分子ふるいが組成物総量に対して1〜30重量%の範囲で存在してい ることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の組成物。 14.1から30デシグラム/分の範囲のMFIを有することを特徴とする請求 項11に記載の組成物。 15.前記分子ふるいが、前記組成物を水/酢酸環境に暴露した場合に水よりも 酢酸を選択的に吸収することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の組成物。 16.(a)エチレン/酸コポリマーもしくはこれらのイオノマー、またはエチ レン/酸/アクリレートターポリマーもしくはこれらのイオノマー、またはエチ レン/ビニルアセテートコポリマーを含み、5重量%よりも少ない酸化マグネシ ウムを含有し、シリカ/アルミナ比率が100よりも小さく、8〜10オングス トロームの公称孔径を有するアルミノケイ酸ナトリウムを含む親水性分子ふるい から選択される酸捕捉剤と、 (b)(i)ポリブチレンのホモポリマーもしくはコポリマー、または前記ポ リマーとポリプロピレンとの混合物;またはポリプロピレンのホモポリマーもし くはコポリマーから選択されたポリオレフィン樹脂と(ii)エチレン酸コポリ マーまたはこれらのイオノマーとの混合物と、 を含むことを特徴とする剥離可能なシール組成物。 17.a)エチレン酸コポリマーもしくはターポリマーまたはこれらのイオノマ ーと、5重量%よりも少ない酸化マグネシウムを含有し、シリカ/アルミナ比率 が100よりも小さく、8〜10オングストロームの公称孔径を有するアミノケ イ酸ナトリウムを含む分子ふるいから選択されるゼオライトとを含有する熱可塑 性エチレンコポリマー組成物を含む最内層と、 b)少なくとも1つの、追加のポリマー層または金属層または非金属層と、 を含むことを特徴とする多層パッケージ構造。 18.前記追加のポリマー層が、エチレン酸コポリマーもしくはターポリマーま たはこれらのイオノマーと、5重量%よりも少ない酸化マグネシウムを含有し、 シリカ/アルミナ比率が35よりも小さいアルミノケイ酸ナトリウムを含む分子 ふるいから選択されるゼオライトとを含む、熱可塑性エチレンコポリマー組成物 から選択され、あるいは、 エチレン/酸コポリマーまたはイオノマーを含有するフィルムであって、分子 ふるいやポリエステルなどの他のポリマー材料を含有しないエチレンコポリマー パッケージ材料を含有する層から選択され、前記金属層がアルミニウムから選択 されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の多層構造。
