Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.予め決められた量の液体もしくは気体の燃料を、往復内燃機関のシリンダ( 6)に向かって一方の末端(1a)が開放されている予燃焼室(1)内に入って いる空気と混合して、得られた混合物に点火することを保証し、その燃料は、予 燃焼室自体内の圧力に比べ過剰の圧力(Δp)によって作動されるインジェクタ (2)によって、予燃焼室(1)の閉鎖末端(1c)から軸方向に噴射される方 法であって;前記燃料噴射が、前記内燃機関の圧縮1/2サイクル中に行われ、 その結果、燃料の供給を保証するインジェクタ(2)と過剰圧力(Δp)は、噴 射される燃料ジェット(5)が、予燃焼室自体の前記開放末端(1a)に到達し たときに、完全に気化されおよび/または予燃焼室(1)内に入っている空気と 混合され、そして、その並進運動中、噴射点(A)から、予燃焼室(1)の前記 開放末端(1a)の中心(C)に向かって立ち上がる予め決められた曲線7で表 すことができる混合物の濃度の値(R)にしたがって、上記空気と混合されるの を保証することを特徴とする方法。 2.予燃焼室(1)の閉鎖末端(1c)の近くに位置する空気の画定容積(V1 )中の混合物の平均濃度値が、ゼロであるか、または化学量論的濃度(Rst) より予め決められた濃度だけ低い、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.インジェクタ(2)が予燃焼室(1)中に予め決められた長さ(L)だけ挿 入され、それによりインジェクタの外表面と予燃焼室(1)の内表面との間に入 っている空気の予め決められた容積(V1)が画定されて、混合物の濃度の平均 値がゼロであるか、または化学量論的値より予め決められた大きさだけ小さい、 請求項2に記載の方法。 4.前記容積(V1)が、その内燃機関で達成される圧縮比で割り算した予燃焼 室(1)の容積に等しいかまたは概容積より大きい、請求項2または3に記載の 方法。 5.予め決められた量の熱を、前記容積(V1)中に入っている空気に供給する 、請求項2〜4のいずれか一つに記載の方法。 6.その内燃機関のピストンが最大圧縮の死点に達したときに、点火が行われる 、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載の方法。 7.何回も放電させることによって点火を行い、その点火点が予燃焼室(1)の 軸線に直角でかつ前記予燃焼室の開放末端(1a)に対応して配置されている面 (γ)上に位置している、請求項1〜6のいずれか一つに記載の方法。 8.予燃焼室(1)の開放末端(1a)が円形であり、そして4個の点火点(8 )が予燃焼室の円形開放末端(1a)に対して同心の円周(β)上に配置され、 その円周の直径(d)が予燃焼室の直径(D)の1/2に等しい、請求項7に記 載の方法。 9.予燃焼室(1)の全容積が、最大圧縮に対応して、内燃機関のピストンが残 すデッドスペースの容積の1/5〜1/2である請求1〜8のいずれか一つに記 載の方法。 10.特定量の燃料が各サイクル中に噴射され、その燃料が予燃焼室(1)内で 燃焼することによって生成する熱が、単一もしくは複数のシリンダ(6)および 予燃焼室(1)自体の中に入っている空気全体の温度を上昇させて、所定の速度 曲線にしたがってピストンが復帰と膨張を行う間、この温度を、予め決められた 期間、燃料の点火温度を超える温 度に保持することを保証するのに十分な熱である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一つ に記載の方法。 11.予燃焼室(1)の内壁が、クロムめっき、研削または同じ結果が得られる 他の方法によって、“光沢を付与”される、請求項1〜10のいずれか一つに記 載の方法。 12.予燃焼室(1)の大きさが予燃焼室中で燃焼が行われる期間中、空気が入 っている前記容積(V1)が、単一もしくは複数のピストンの後退運動の作動に よって膨張し、結局、予燃焼室のほぼ全容積をしめて、燃焼前線の位置を、前記 燃焼の全期間にわたって、予燃焼室(1)の開口(1a)の近くに静止させるよ うな大きさである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。 13.混合物の濃度がゼロである前記容積(V1)が、そのエンジンの作動状態 が変わるときに修正される、請求項12に記載の方法。
