Abstract

Un disco de multimedia constituido de una region de almacenamiento de datos de vídeo y una region de almacenamiento de informacion de administracion, la region de almacenamiento de datos de vídeo que almacena una pluralidad de secuencias de datos de vídeo, cada secuencia de datos de vídeo que tiene una pluralidad de segmento de vídeo de un periodo de reproduccion que se graban de una manera intercalada con una pluralidad de muestras de audio, en donde una pluralidad de sub-imágenes y una pluralidad de procedimientos de control y una muestra de audio y una sub-imágen se reproducen simultáneamente con un segmento de vídeo y en donde cada procedimiento de control indica una secuencia de datos de vídeo como una direccion de ramificacion que refleja una operacion interactiva del dispositivo de reproduccion durante la reproduccion de una secuencia de datos de vídeo corriente, la region de almacenamiento de la informacion de administracion que almacena la informacion de administracion comprendida de la informacion de grupo que muestra que secuencias de datos de vídeo se han agrupado conjuntamente para componer un grupo para el cual solo se reproduce una de las secuencias de datos de vídeo componentes, una pluralidad de identificadores de nivel, cada uno de los cuales se asigna exclusivamente a solo una secuencia de datos de vídeo en un mismo grupo y la informacion de ramificacion que indica, para una secuencia de datos de vídeo arbitraria, una secuencia de datos de vídeo que se va a reproducir después de la terminacion de la reproduccion de la secuencia de datos de vídeo arbitraria.
