Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 粉末が飛散しにくい又は飛散しない、実質的に不揮発性の金属フレーク顔 料成分を準備する方法であって、前記方法が、粉砕流体と、及び潤滑特性及び錆 止め特性を有する添加物と、又は潤滑油及び少なくとも一つの錆止め剤とのいず れかとの存在下で、粉末化された金属粉末をボールミル粉砕加工するステップを 備え、前記粉砕流体が実質的に水からなることを特徴とする金属フレーク顔料成 分の準備方法。 2. 前記金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法が、粉砕された成分をスクリーニン グして好ましい大きさの粒子を選択するステップを含む請求項1に記載の金属フ レーク顔料成分の準備方法。 3. 前記金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法が、有機結合媒体、水及び金属フレ ーク顔料からなる凝集ペーストを形成するステップを含む請求項1又は2のいず れかに記載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 4. いずれか、又は両方が水を含み、有機結合媒体を含む第1成分と金属顔料 を含む第2成分を混合し、及び凝集ペーストを細分割して粒子とした後に前記粒 子から実質的に全ての揮発性溶液を除去するか、又は実質的に全ての揮発性溶液 を凝集ペーストから除去した後に得られた固まりを細分割して粒子とするかのい ずれかによって前記ぺーストが形成され、前記ペーストが金属顔料の約3〜70 重量%の有機結合媒体を含み、前記得られた粒子の少なくとも98重量%が15 0μmの穴を有するふるいに保持され、該各粒子が有機結合媒体のマトリックス 中に分散した複数の金属顔料粒子を含んでおり、前記有機結合媒体が、揮発性液 体の除去中に溶液から沈殿させる方法、又は高い温度及び融合で焼結又は融解さ せる方法のいずれかによって金属フレーク顔料粒子同士を結合させることができ る請求項3に 記載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 5. 前記潤滑油が、アルコール又はフェノールとエチレンオキシドとの凝縮物 と、及び脂肪酸又はその誘導体と、を含む請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の金 属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 6. 前記錆止め剤が、リン含有化合物、クロム含有化合物、バナジウム含有化 合物、又はシリコン含有化合物である請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の金属フ レーク顔料成分の準備方法。 7. 前記錆止め剤が、ポリエチレンオキシド側鎖を有するリン酸エステルであ る請求項6に記載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 8. 一つの成分が潤滑油及び錆止め剤として働く請求項1乃至4のいずれか記 載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 9. 前記一つの成分がポリエチレンオキシド側鎖を有するリン酸エステルであ る請求項8に記載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 10. 前記粉砕加工ステップにおいて、界面活性剤が存在している請求項1乃至 9のいずれかに記載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 11. 金属顔料がアルミニウム、亜鉛、銅、スズ、ニッケル、鉄、又はこれらの 合金である請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方 法。 12. 前記金属顔料が、アルミニウム又は金銅である請求項1乃至11のいずれ かに記載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 13. 前記金属顔料が、高い光輝性顔料である請求項1乃至12のいずれかに記 載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 14. 前記金属顔料がアルミニウムで、前記潤滑油がオレイン酸で、前記錆止め 剤がポリエチレンオキシド側鎖を有するリン酸エステルである請求項1乃至13 のいずれかに記載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 15. 前記金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法が、前記粉砕した金属フレーク顔料 を水系で処理するステップを含む請求項1乃至14のいずれかに記載の金属フレ ーク顔料成分の準備方法。 16. 前記粉砕した金属フレーク顔料が、クロム酸塩で処理されるか、シリカで 被覆されるか、又はアルミナで被覆される請求項15に記載の金属フレーク顔料 成分の準備方法。 17. 前記顔料が細分化された接合剤によって被覆され、焼結される請求項1乃 至15のいずれかに記載の金属フレーク顔料成分の準備方法。 18. 金属粉末をボールミル粉砕加工する方法において、ポリエチレンオキシド 側鎖を有するリン酸エステルを添加剤としで用いることを特徴とする方法。 19. ボールミル粉砕加工した金属フレーク顔料と、水と、及び潤滑特性及び錆 止め特性を有する試剤と、を含むペースト。 20. ボールミル粉砕加工したアルミニウム又は金銅のフレーク顔料と、水と、 及びポリエチレンオキシド側鎖を有するリン酸エステルと、を含む請求項 19に記載のペースト。 21. どのような有機溶媒も非存在下で、有機結合媒体のマトリックス中に分散 した複数の粉砕加工された金属顔料粒子を含む微粒子。 22. 前記微粒子が焼結した微粒子で、前記金属顔料粒子が微細化された有機結 合媒体のマトリックス中に分散している請求項21に記載の微粒子。
