Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.患者の身体内の器官、ルーメン、または他の内部構造をイメージングして、 当該器官、ルーメン、または他の内部構造の関心領域の3次元再生を行うイメー ジング方法において、 カテーテルイメージングチップを含むイメージングシステムを準備し、 カテーテルイメージングチップに近接して装着された少なくとも1つの追跡要 素と、カテーテルイメージングチップから離れた配置された複数に基準フレーム 要素とからなるカテーテル追跡システムを準備し、 カテーテルイメージングチップを器官、ルーメン、または他の内部構造の関心 領域に配置し、 イメージングシステムを使用して、カテーテルイメージングチップの移動中に 、カテーテルイメージングチップの周囲の複数の画像を取得し、 移動中に取得される各画像に対して、イメージングチップにおけるカテーテル に対する接線の位置を記録し、該接線はローカルカテーテル軸を提供し、 カテーテル追跡システムを使用して移動中にカテーテルチップ内の画像原点の X,Y,Z座標を記録し、 曲がった3次元カテーテル移動軌跡の回りの複数の画像を積み重ね、 第1の画像の原点を第1の記録位置に配置し、後続の画像を曲がりに沿った各記 録位置において第1の画像からカテーテル軸に垂直にそれぞれの距離離れたとこ ろに配置するステップからなるイメージング方法。 2.前記カテーテルイメージングチップは管腔内光学コヒーレンストモグラフィ プローブであり、 前記複数の画像を取得するステップは、カテーテルイメージングチップの周囲 を干渉計使用により(interferometrically)走査することを含む請求項1に記 載の方法。 3.前記カテーテルイメージングチップは管腔内超音波プローブであり、 前記複数の画像を取得するステップは、カテーテルイメージングチップの周囲 を超音波検査的に(echographic)走査して、超音波検査画像を取得することを 含み、 各画像は超音波検査データセットに対応する請求項1に記載の方法。 4.少なくとも1つの追跡要素は、カテーテルイメージングチップの近傍に装着 された超音波トランスデューサであり、 複数の基準フレーム要素は、カテーテルイメージングチップから離れて位置す る超音波トランスデューサである請求項1に記載の方法。 5.カテーテル追跡システムは、さらに、 (i)前記追跡トランスデューサが前記基準フレームトランスデューサによって 受信される超音波信号を生成することを可能にし、 (ii)前記超音波信号の生成と、前記基準フレームトランスデューサによる受信 との間の経過時間を連続的に測定し、 (iii)前記フレームトランスデューサのお互いに対する位置と、前記追跡トラ ンスデューサの前記基準フレームトランスデューサに対する位置とを演算する、 ための回路からなる請求項4に記載の方法。 6.カテーテルの移動はカテーテルイメージングチップのプルバックを含む請求 項1に記載の方法。 7.各画像は、記録されたカテーテルに対する接線はカテーテル移動軌跡に対す る近似接線と一致している請求項1に記載の方法。 8.前記トランスデューサの変位を決定するとともにそれらの速度を決定するた めに、前記超音波信号の生成と受信、およびトランスデューサ位置の演算のシー ケンスを繰り返すステップをさらに有する含む請求項5に記載の方法。 9.カテーテルチップの角度を決定するステップをさらに有する請求項7に記載 の方法。 10.前記カテーテル追跡システムは前記イメージングチップに近接して装着さ れた少なくとも2つの追跡要素からなり、 前記角度は、カテーテルチップ接線の近似として、前記イメージングチップに 近接する少なくとも2つの追跡要素の位置を通る線を見出すことによって決定さ れる請求項9に記載の方法。 11.前記2つの追跡要素は超音波トランスデューサである請求項10に記載の 方法。 12.前記角度は、前記少なくとも1つの追跡要素の2つの連続する位置を通る 接線を見出すことによって決定される請求項9に記載の方法。 13.前記少なくとも1つの追跡要素は全方向性である請求項1に記載の方法。 14.前記基準フレーム要素は全方向性である請求項1に記載の方法。 15.前記基準フレーム要素は患者の内部に配置されている請求項1に記載の方 法。 16.前記基準フレーム要素は患者の外部に配置されている請求項1に記載の方 法。 17.前記複数の画像を取得するステップは、カテーテルチップにおいてカテー テル軸にほぼ垂直な断面を本質的に走査することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。 18.前記複数の画像を取得するステップは、カテーテルイメージングチップの 位置にその頂点を有するとともに大きな頂角を有する円錐面を本質的に走査する ことを含む請求項1に記載の方法。 19.前記円錐面の頂角は150−170度である請求項18に記載の方法。 20.前記各超音波検査データセットは、カテーテルイメージングチップに原点 を有する3次元クラウド(cloud)を表す請求項3に記載の方法。 21.少なくとも1つの追跡要素がイメージングチップの20mm以内に装着さ れている請求項1に記載の方法。 22.患者の身体内の器官、ルーメン、または他の内部構造をイメージングして 、当該器官、ルーメン、または他の内部構造の関心領域の正確な3次元再生を行 うカテーテルイメージングシステムにおいて、 基端領域、先端領域、および前記先端領域内に動作可能に配置されたイメージ ングチップを有するカテーテルと、 カテーテルイメージングチップに近接して装着された少なくとも1つの追跡要 素と、カテーテルイメージングチップから離れて配置された複数の基準フレーム 要素とからなるカテーテル追跡システムと、 前記イメージングチップに動作可能に連結された自動長手位置変換器と、 前記イメージングチップ、追跡システム、および自動長手位置変換器に連結さ れたシステムとからなり、 動作中、前記システムは、前記イメージングチップを自動的にプルバックし、 一方前記イメージングチップの周囲の複数の画像を取得し、移動中に前記イメー ジングチップの位置座標を追跡するカテーテルイメージングシステム。 23.前記システムは、さらに、 (i)前記少なくとも1つの追跡要素が前記基準フレーム要素によって受信され る超音波信号を生成することを可能にし、 (ii)前記超音波信号の生成と、前記基準フレーム要素による受信との間の経過 時間を連続的に測定し、 (iii)前記基準フレーム要素のお互いに対する位置と、前記少なくとも1つの 追跡要素の前記基準フレーム要素に対する位置とを演算する、ための回路からな る請求項22に記載のカテーテルイメージングシステム。 24.前記少なくとも1つの追跡要素はトランスデューサであり、前記基準フレ ーム要素はトランスデューサである請求項23に記載のカテーテルイメージング システム。 25.前記少なくとも1つの追跡要素はトランスデューサであり、前記基準フレ ーム要素はトランスデューサである請求項22に記載のカテーテルイメージング システム。
