Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.上方チップ面、下方底面、少なくも3個の側面、及び前記上方面と2個の インサート側面との交差に形成された少なくも2個の切れ刃を有するチップ切削 用インサートであって、各切れ刃は先端部と後端部とを有し、各切れ刃と組み合 わせられた側面は、第1の内角でインサート底面に対し傾けられた上方の1次逃 げ部分、及び第2の内角でインサート底面に対して傾けられた下方の2次逃げ部 分を備え、前記第2の内角が切れ刃の少なくもある一部分に沿って第1の内角と は異なっている前記チップ切削用インサート。 2.前記第1の内角が切れ刃の長さの少なくも前記部分に沿って鋭角である請 求項1によるチップ切削用インサート。 3.第1の内角が切れ刃の長さの少なくもある一部分に沿って第2の内角より もなお鋭角である請求項2によるチップ切削用インサート。 4.前記第1の内角が、切れ刃の長さの少なくもある一部分に沿って90°に 等しい請求項1によるチップ切削用インサート。 5.前記第1の内角が切れ刃の長さの少なくもある一部分に沿って鈍角である 請求項1によるチップ切削用インサート。 6.切削用インサートが、1対の両側の主側面、1対の両側の副側面及び前記 両側の主側面と組み合わせられた1対の割出し可能な両側の主切れ刃を有する請 求項1によるチップ切削用インサート。 7.前記1次逃げ部分が曲げられ、工具内に取り付けられたときにインサート の逃げ角がインサートの作動切れ刃に沿って不変であるように、前記第1の内角 が組み合わせられた切れ刃の長さに沿って変動する請求項1によるチップ切削用 インサート。 8.前記2次逃げ部分が実質的に平面であり、かつインサート主位置決め面を 構成する請求項1によるチップ切削用インサート。 9.インサートの各副側面に、インサート底面に向かう方向で外向きに伸びて いる副位置決め面が形成される請求項6によるチップ切削用インサート。 10.各副側面に、インサートの平面図で見てインサートの前記副位置決め面 より先に少なくも僅かに突き出るインサート上面の副切れ刃が形成される請求項 9によるチップ切削用インサート。
