Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. ユーザーの目と共に使用するイメージコンバイニング・レンズシステ ムであり、以下の構成を備える該レンズシステム: 周囲の光線を第1のレンズを介して概ね対向する面に通すように構成 された概ね対向する面をもつ少なくとも第1のレンズ; 第1のレンズの内部に配置されて前記周囲の光線から分かれているイ メージソースから光線を受ける光路であって、少なくとも一部が前記概ね対向の 面にそい、そして、それらの間に配置されている光路;及び 前記第1のレンズの内部に配置されていて、前記第1のレンズからユ ーザーの目へ前記光路の一部の光線を再び向けるインターフェースを備えるイン サート。 2. 前記インサートは、屈折率を異にし、前記インサートにより分けられ ている二つのマテリアルズからなる請求項1のシステム。 3. 前記インターフェースは、前記二つのマテリアルズの間にエアーギャ ップを備える請求項2のシステム。 4. 前記インサートはビームコンバイナーからなる請求項1のシステム。 5. 前記ビームコンバイナーは、リバースされたビームスプリッターから なる請求項4のシステム。 6. 前記インサートは、偏光ビームスプリッターからなる請求項1のシス テム。 7. 前記インターフェースは、全部が内部反射する請求項1のシステム。 8. 前記インサートは、半透過ミラーからなる請求項1のシステム。 9. 前記インターフェースは、平らである請求項1のシステム。 10. 前記インターフェースは、カーブしていて、予め選んだ光学パワー提 供する請求項1のシステム。 11. 見ようとするイメージを正しく位置させるために予め選択された角度 で前記インターフェースが配置されている請求項1のシステム。 12. 前記インターフェースは、光路をスプリットする干渉コーティングを 含む請求項1のシステム。 13. 前記インサートは、ホログラフィコンバイナーからなる請求項1のシ ステム。 14. 前記レンズシステムは、さらに、前記インターフェースとユーザーの 目との間の光路に配置された第2のレンズを備え、予め選択された拡大を行う請 求項1のシステム。 15. 前記第2のレンズは、前記インサートからエアーギャップを介し離れ ている請求項14のシステム。 16. 前記第2のレンズは、前記第1のレンズと一体になっている請求項1 4のシステム。 17. 前記第2のレンズは、前記第1のレンズに接着している請求項14の システム。 18. 前記第2のレンズは、前記第1のレンズにモールドされている請求項 14のシステム。 19. たハウジングをさらに備える請求項89のシステム。 91. 以下の構成を備える頭部装着イメージコンバイニングシステム: ユーザーの頭部に支えられる輪郭になっている一対のレンズホルダー と一対のテンプルとを有する眼鏡フレーム; 前記眼鏡フレームに取り付けられたイメージソース; ユーザーの一方の目の前で前記対になっているレンズホルダーの一方 に眼鏡フレームで支持されている以下の構成のメインレンズ; 周囲の光線が前記メインレンズを介して概ね対向の面を通過す るように構成されている概ね対向の面; 前記メインレンズ内に埋設されて、前記メインレンズを介して 概ね対向の面の間に前記イメージソースから光線を向けるプリズム; 前記プリズムからユーザーの目へ光線を向ける位置で前記メイ ンレンズに埋設のビームスプリッティングキューブ;及び ユーザーの他方の目の前で対のレンズホルダーの他方に前記眼鏡フレ ームにより支持されている第2のレンズ。 92. 前記ビームスプリッティングキューブが偏光する請求項91のシステ ム。 93. 前記イメージソースがアクティブマトリックス液晶ディスプレイから なる請求項91のシステム。 94. 前記アクティブマトリックス液晶ディスプレイを照らすように配置さ れているバックライトをさらに備える請求項93のシステム。 95. 前記メインレンズは、前記ビームスプリッティングキューブとユーザ ーの目との間に配置されて、正のパワーを有するレンズと、前記ビームスプリッ ティングキューブと周囲の光景との間に配置されて、負のパワーを有するレンズ とを備える請求項91のシステム。 96. 前記対のテンプルの一方に取り付けられたハウジングをさらに備えて おり、前記イメージソースが前記ハウジング内に配置されている請求項91のシ ステム。
