Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 頂部付近に吸気バルブおよび排気バルブが備えられた1以上のシリンダと 、使用時にエンジンが発生する排出ガスを集合させる排気室とを有し、排気バル ブが開かれたときにシリンダから出る排出ガスを吸引すると共にそのシリンダの ピストンをシリンダ頂部へ向けて能動的に吸引してエンジンの排気行程も動力行 程となすために、各シリンダに真空圧を作用させるように配置された排気室用の 真空ポンプを含んで成る往復4サイクル内燃機関。 2. 請求項1に記載された内燃機関であって、真空ポンプがそのエンジンで駆 動されるように機械連結された内燃機関。 3. 請求項1または請求項2に記載された内燃機関であって、吸気バルブが開 かれたときに空燃混合気が加圧下で各シリンダに供給されるように吸気室に圧力 を加えるために配置されるコンプレッサを含み、この圧力が吸入行程もまた動力 行程にする内燃機関。 4. 請求項3に記載された内燃機関であって、真空ポンプおよびコンプレッサ が同一ハウジングに取付けられた内燃機関。 5. 請求項3に記載された内燃機関であって、コンプレッサはエンジンの運転 速度によって自動的に変化される速度で駆動される内燃機関。 6. 請求項3に記載された内燃機関であって、バルブは少しのバルブオーバー ラップもない状態で作動するように配置された内燃機関。 7. エンジンによって駆動されるように配置され、また十分高い圧力のもとで それぞれの排気バルブが開かれたときに常にそのシリンダのピストンをシリンダ 頂部へ向けて能動的に吸引してエンジンの排気行程もまた動力行程となすために エンジンのそのシリンダ、または各シリンダに真空圧を作用させるように配置さ れた、内燃機関の排気マニホルド用真空ポンプ。 8. 請求項3に記載されたポンプであって、エンジンの運転速度に応じた速度 でポンプを駆動させるように構成された、エンジンをポンプに連結する機械的駆 動装置を有するポンプ。
