Abstract

Una pompa getter comprende un involucro a tenuta di gas provvisto di mezzi per il suo fissaggio da un recipiente a vuoto, ed una pluralità di piastre all'interno dell'involucro, ciascuna delle quali è costituita da un metallo getter non evaporabile, poroso, sotto forma di particelle sinterizzate, e presenta una prima superficie piana ed una seconda superficie piana parallela alla prima, distanziata da questa di circa 1-5 mm. Dette piastre sono disposte radialmente con superfici piane e contigue di piastre adiacenti separate l'una dall'altra di una distanza compresa tra circa 0,5 e circa 10 mm. Lo spazio compreso tra piastre contigue costituisce un passaggio che presenta una conduttanza di gas. La pompa getter è inoltre provvista di un riscaldatore.
