Abstract

1446700 Spray producers DEERING MILLIKEN RESEARCH CORP 12 Dec 1974 [3 Jan 1974 17 May 1974 (2)] 53799/74 Heading B2F [Also in Division B6] A printing machine has a dye applicator including a dye-receiving chamber 311 and a plurality of discharge passages 304, the applicator being of two-part construction having mating surfaces extending in the lengthwise direction, grooves formed in at least one of the mating surfaces forming the discharge passages when the two parts are clamped together e.g. by member 310. Dye passes out of passages 304 and either proceeds to the material to be dyed or is blown into a dye collection trough by nozzles, one for each passage, supplied with gas from line 312, each line having an associated valve. The dye is supplied under pressure to chamber 311. [GB1446700A]
