Abstract

A projection bar device for a dye jet stamping apparatus, in which liquid dye is applied to a moving porous material, such as a pile fabric or a pile mat, in individual dye streams, to form a drawing, comprising a support extending transversely through the material path and a longitudinal dye applicator secured to the support and provided with at least one chamber which is continuously fed with liquid dye, and having a plurality of orifices of dye discharge arranged along it to discharge dye from the chamber or chambers in the form of said dye streams, characterized in that the dye applicator includes two applicator sections having mating surfaces, one of which, therefore less, it is formed with grooves that extend from the inside of the dye applicator, where they communicate with the camera or cameras, to an edge and outside of that mating surface, and why a holding device is provided to hold the two applicator sections together, so that the grooves of the coupled applicator sections form dye discharge holes for discharge of said dye streams.
