Claims (14)
1. Molekula rekombinantne DNK koja sadrži ciljni element mts-siRNK koji se sastoji od sekvence odabrane iz skupine koja sadrži SEQ ID NOs: 1, 2, i njihovih komplemenata pri čemu je ciljni elmts-siRNK operativno povezan s heterolognom polinukleotidnom molekulom sposobnom za prepisivanje u molekulu RNK.
2. Molekula rekombinantne DNK prema zahtjevu 1, naznačena time što:
heterologna polinukleotidna molekula koja se može transkribirati, kodira protein koji biljkama daje otpornost na herbicide.
3. Molekula rekombinantne DNK prema zahtjevu 2, naznačena time što je navedeni herbicid odabran iz skupine koja se sastoji od inhibitora acetil koenzima A karboksilaze (ACCase), inhibitora acetolaktat sintaze (ALS), inhibitora fotosustava II (PSII), inhibitora protoporfirinogen oksidaze (PPO), inhibitora 4-hidroksifenil dioksigenaze (HPPD), inhibitora 5-enolipiruvil šikimat 3-fosfat sintaze (EPSPS), inhibitora glutamin sintaze (GS) sintetskih auksina.
4. Molekula rekombinantne DNK prema zahtjevu 1, što navedena heterologna polinukleotidna molekula koja se može transkribirati, kodira 5-enolipiruvil šikimat 3-fosfat sintazu (EPSPS) tolerantnu na glifosat.
5. Transgena biljka, njezin dio ili sjeme, naznačena time što u svom genomu sadrži molekulu rekombinantne DNK prema zahtjevu 1 .
6. Biljka prema zahtjevu 5, naznačena time što je navedena biljka jednosupnica.
7. Biljka prema zahtjevu 6, naznačena time što je navedena biljka, biljka kukuruza.
8. Postupak selektivne regulacije ekspresije proteina u muškom reproduktivnom tkivu transgene biljke, naznačen time što obuhvaća ekspresiju u navedenoj transgenoj biljci rekombinantne DNK molekule prema zahtjevu 1 .
9. Postupak prema zahtjevu 8, naznačen time što navedeni protein sadrži 5-enolipiruvil šikimat 3-fosfat sintazu (EPSPS) tolerantnu na glifosat.
10. Postupak izazivanja muške sterilnosti u transgenoj biljci, naznačen time što obuhvaća:
(a) uzgoj transgene biljke koja sadrži molekulu rekombinantne DNK koja sadrži ciljni element mts-siRNK koji se sastoji od sekvence odabrane iz skupine koja se sastoji od SEQ ID NOs: 1, 2, i njihovih komplemenata, pri čemu je ciljni element mts-siRNK operativan povezan s heterolognom polinukleotidnom molekulom koja kodira protein koji daje toleranciju na barem prvi herbicid; i
(b) primjenu učinkovite količine navedenog herbicida na navedenu transgenu biljku, pri čemu se primjena herbicida provodi prije ili istovremeno s razvojem muškog reproduktivnog tkiva navedene transgene biljke, čime se inducira muška sterilnost transgene biljke.
11. Postupak prema zahtjevu 10, naznačen time što:
(a) navedena heterologna polinukleotidna molekula kodira 5-enolipiruvil šikimat 3-fosfat sintazu (EPSPS) tolerantnu na glifosat; ili
(b) navedeni herbicid je glifosat; ili
(c) navedena učinkovita količina herbicida se primjenjuje u razvojnom stadiju odabranom iz skupine koju čine stadiji V4, VS, V6, V7, V8, V9, V10, V11, V12, V13, i V14.
12. Postupak prema zahtjevu 11, naznačen time što je navedena učinkovita količina herbicida oko 0,125 funti kiselinskog ekvivalenta po jutru do oko 8 funti kiselinskog ekvivalenta po jutru glifosata.
13. Hibridno sjeme proizvedeno postupkom koji obuhvaća:
(a) primjenu učinkovite količine herbicida na transgenu biljku koja sadrži molekulu rekombinantne DNK koja sadrži ciljni element mts-siRNK koji se sastoji od sekvence odabrane iz skupine koja sadrži SEQ ID NOs: 1, 2, i njihove komplemente, pri čemu je ciljni element mts-siRNK operativno povezan s heterolognom polinukleotidnom molekulom koja kodira protein koji daje otpornost na barem prvi herbicid, pri čemu se navedena primjena herbicida provodi prije ili istodobno s razvojem muškog reproduktivnog tkiva transgene biljke, čime se inducira muška sterilnost navedene transgene biljke;
(b) oplodnju navedene transgene biljke polenom iz druge biljke; i
(c) omogućavanje formiranja hibridnog sjemena iz navedene transgene biljke
pri čemu hibridno sjeme sadrži navedenu molekulu rekombinantne DNK.
14. Hibridno sjeme prema zahtjevu 13, naznačeno time što:
(a) navedena oplodnja uključuje dopuštanje oprašivanja vjetrom; ili
(b) navedena transkribirana heterologna polinukleotidna molekula kodira 5-enolipiruvil šikimat 3-fosfat sintazu (EPSPS) tolerantnu na glifosat; ili
(c) navedeni herbicid je glifosat, koji se glifosat poželjno primjenjuje istovremeno s razvojem u učinkovitoj količini od oko 0,125 funti kiselinskog ekvivalenta po jutru do oko 8 funti kiselinskog ekvivalenta po jutru.
