Claims (10)

1. Uređaj za endoluminalno tretiranje krvne žile obuhvaća: fleksibilni valovod koji definira izduženu os s proksimalnim krajem koji je optički povezan s izvorom zračenja; distalni kraj navedenog valovoda koji se može prihvatiti u unutrašnji dio krvne žile i koji uključuje najmanje dvije površine za emitiranje zračenja koje su konfigurirane za emitiranje zračenja u obliku prstenastog uzorka, od izvora zračenja bočno u odnosu na izduženu os valovoda aksijalno se pružajući na okolinu stjenke krvne žile; i navlaku koja je čvrsto pričvršćena na valovod i zapečaćena u odnosu na njega, i koja unutra okružuje navedene emitirajuće površine, i koji definira sučelje plinskog-valovoda, za svaku navedenu emitirajuću površinu, gdje se zračenje može emitirati bočno s obzirom na izduženu os valovoda kroz spomenutu navlaku na stjenku krvne žile koja ga okružuje, pri čemu je navlaka kapa (110) koja je u biti transparentna u odnosu na emitirano zračenje; pri čemu navedeni valovod sadrži vlakno (100) s najmanje jednim skraćenim konusom (108) koji je na prednjoj strani vlakna sklopljen na segment vlakna s konusnim vrhom (104) na svom distalnom kraju, pri čemu svaki od vlakna / segmenta ima najmanje jezgru i oblagujući sloj; i pri čemu najmanje jedna navedena površina za emitiranje zračenja sa skraćenim konusom sadrži skraćeni konus (108) konstruiran s kutom i promjerom površine skraćenog konusa tako da unaprijed određeni dio navedene energije nastavlja putovati prema naprijed unutar navedenog segmenta vlakana u dodiru s navedenim skraćenim stošcem, a dio energije zrači lateralno u odnosu na izduženu os valovoda, na navedenom skraćenom stošcu (108).
2. Uređaj u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 1, naznačen time da barem jedna navedena površina sa skraćenom konusom (108) koja emitira zračenje sadrži razmak između navedenog skraćenog konusa i navedenog segmenta vlakana.
3. Uređaj u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 1 ili 2, naznačen time da barem jedna navedena površina sa skraćenom konusom (108) koja emitira zračenje sadrži dodatni konusni dio koji je skraćen i orijentiran prema unatrag.
4. Uređaj u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 3, naznačen time da su navedeno vlakno sa skraćenim konusom (108) i navedeni segment vlakana s konusnim vrhom (104) sklopljeni unutar navedene navlake povezivanjem navedenog konusa s navedenim segmentom vlakana.
5. Uređaj u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 4, naznačen time da se navedeno vlakno sa skraćenim konusom (108) i navedeni segment vlakana s konusnim vrhom (104) povezuje lijepljenjem navedenog konusa na navedeni segment vlakana.
6. Uređaj u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 4, naznačen time da su navedeno vlakno sa skraćenim konusom (108) i navedeni segment vlakana s konusnim vrhom (104) bočno spojeni na navedenu navlaku.
7. Uređaj u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 6, naznačen time da je navedena jezgra vlakna izrađena od silicija i okružena je sa slojem od fluoriranog omotača, navedeni sloj fluoriranog omotača je okružen oklopljenim dijelom koji se sastoji od čistog silicija, uglavnom istog kao i jezgra vlakna.
8. Uređaj u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 7, naznačen time da je navedeno vlakno oblikovano da poboljšava glatkoću prijelazne zone između vanjskog sloja vlakna i navedene navlake.
9. Uređaj prema bilo kojem od zahtjeva 1 do 5, naznačen time da je navedeni valovod proizveden iz jednog komada vlakna, a navedena navlaka je proizvedena od silicija koji je uglavnom ekvivalentan siliciju koji sačinjava navedenu jezgru vlakna.
10. Uređaj u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 9, naznačen time da nadalje sadrži najmanje jedan laserski izvor koji osigurava lasersko zračenje najmanje od oko 980 nm, od oko 1470 nm i od oko 1950 nm, svaki ± od oko 30 nm, pri snazi koja nije veća od oko 10 W, pri čemu je proksimalni kraj valovoda optički povezan na navedenim barem jednim laserskim izvorom.
