Abstract

PONTA DE SONDA DE ILUMINAÇçO TERMICAMENTE ROBUSTA. Nas modalidades da invenção, uma fibra ótica plástica é unida a uma parte distal de alta temperatura para formar uma sonda de iluminação termicamente robusta. A parte distal é curta em termos de comprimento, é feita de um material de alta temperatura, possui um formato adequado para orientar a luz em uma aplicação desejada, e pode ser revestida com um revestimento refletor para garantir que os raios de luz aprisionados dentro da parte não escapem quando o lado da parte está em contato com o índice dealta refração ou materiais absorventes. A parte distal pode ser feita de materiais de alta temperatura tal como hastes plásticas de alta temperatura, fibras óticas de vidro, e assim por diante. A extremidade distal pode ser afunilada ou esculpida em uma configuração desejada. A fibra ótica plástica e a parte distal de alta temperatura podem ser unidas utilizando-se um adesivo ótico, dentro de uma cânula de aço, um cubo plástico, um conector ótico, etc.
