Each end wall has partitions L, J or K, M connected thereto by portions F, H or I, G, the portions I, H being longer than portions F, G to space the partitions longitudinally of the carton. Incisions 14 accommodate flaps P, Q on lid portions O, N. If the carton is small and lacks rigidity a camb-shaped piece of card engages the partitions to maintain the form of a half-empty carton. Flaps X, Y may be provided on end walls D, E.
