Abstract

934.590. Cartons. UNIPAK CARTONS Ltd. Nov. 21. 1961 [May 10. 1961]. No. 41533/61. Class 18. A carton formed from a single blank comprises a tubular wall structure 1 .. 4 with end closing flaps 5, 7, 9 and 10 and a longitudinal partition member former from panels 19, 22 with a handle member 23, 24 attached thereto characterized in that the handle member 13 attached to panel 19 by means of a double crease line 28, 29 which produces intermediate panels 27 to limit the movement of the handle member. Fig. 8 shows the assembled carton with the handle between panels 19 and 22 and in a position between its extended and inoperative position. In a modification (not shown) the carton may have self locking end closure flaps in the base which also provide longitudinal and transverse partition panels. In a further modification the handle carrying longitudinal partition may extend the whole height of the box and have transverse partitions formed therefrom Specifications 858,214 896,479 and 896,716 are referred to.
