1,100,582. Tray-like cartons. R. J. DAIN. 16 Nov., 1964 [15 Nov., 1963], No. 45220/63. Heading B8P. A cardboard carton is made from a single blank, the end panels 13, 14 of which are slotted 17, and the flaps 34, 35 on the sides 18, 20 pass through the slot in their adjacent end panel, and are bent towards their own side panels after passing through the slot when the blank is erected. The side panels 18, 20 are slotted, 38, to receive and lock the ends 37 of the flaps. The carton top is closed by two panels 23, 24. An extension 27 of the end panels 13, 14 is folded over and encloses the flaps 35.
