952,079. Liquid fuel burners. M. LEISENBERG. Aug. 26, 1960 [Sept. 22, 1959], No. 29493/60. Heading F4T. Apparatus for the periodic heating of ceramic kilns comprises an electric impulse generator 1 supplying fuel periodically to a nozzle 27 having a plurality of converging or parallel discharge bores 40, 41, 42 of different diameters. The nozzle is screwed into a housing 2 containing a valve 26. Figs. 2, 3, 4 (not shown) show nozzles with different arrangements of discharge bores.
