Abstract
1313932 Gas burners FORNEY INTERNATIONAL Inc 27 July 1970 [25 July 1969] 36338/70 Heading F4T A fuel burner 10 comprises a conduit (12) including inner and outer spaced walls 20, 22 defining a gas chamber 26 therebetween and joined together at the tip 24, which includes a frustroconical end wall 28 connected to an integral cylindrical wall 30, the end wall 28 having a series of end orifices 40 with axes substantially normal to the surface of end wall 28 and the cylindrical wall 30 having a series of outer orifices 42 with axes substantially normal to the surface of cylindrical wall 30, means for introducing gas to chamber 26, and means for igniting the gas exteriorally of chamber 26 such that jets of gas from the two series of orifices, formed in rows, counteract one another to vibration in the burner. An oil gun may be introduced through central guide conduit 36.
