Abstract

659,286. Liquid-fuel burners. KENDERI, T. April 4, 1949, No. 9107. [Class 75(i)] A vaporizing burner of the nozzle type for liquid fuels comprising a gasifying and/or pre-heating tube 8, 25, one or more nozzle 3, 4 mounted on a nozzle body, and a mixing chamber 21, surrounded by a heat conducting mantle 1 preferably having an external heat insulating sleeve 7, has a burner cap 2 arranged above and projecting into the space 15 surrounded by the mantle. The nozzles are cleaned by needles 18 and 19 actuated from a crank shaft 13 rotated by a hand wheel 14 located outside the burner.
