Abstract

1,047,024. Oil burners. M. LEISENBERG. Aug. 14, 1963 [Aug. 28, 1962], No. 32060/63. Heading F4T. An oil injection apparatus for firing ceramic furnaces comprises an oil nozzle 5 (Figure not shown), provided with axial and inclined bores 6, 7 discharging oil into a mixing chamber which is supplied with air through a pipe 10 and which tapers towards its outlet 11. The nozzle is screwed into a holder 2 supported on the lower end of a magnetic fuel injection pump which supplies the oil in pulses. The holder 2 has an outlet valve 4 retained in closed position by a spring 3.
