A closure device for a flexible container comprises a member 1 with a shoulder 10 passing through an opening in the container wall 8, and to which shoulder is screwed an annular member 4, thereby urging a resilient metal washer 9 of V-shaped cross-section against a washer 7 to form a seal. A stopper 3 is screwed into an opening 14 of the member 1 and engages a packing 6. For filling or emptying operations the stopper is removed and replaced by a pipe which embraces a nozzle which screws into the opening.
