926,705. Contact members for switches. MORECAMBE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT CO. Ltd. Sept. 4, 1961 [Dec. 8, 1960], No. 42241/60. Class 38 (5). An isolating switch comprises a plurality of pairs of fixed contacts a-a, b-b, c-c between which are mounted for rectilinear movement a pair of bars i-i carrying a plurality of knife-edged contact blades k, l, m insulated from one another and arranged each to bridge a pair of fixed contacts. The switch may be operated by a handle and link arrangement which moves over centre to hold the switch closed. Auxiliary contacts may be mounted on members d, e, which carry the fixed contacts, and operated by pins mounted on the bars i-i.
