763,245. Snap-action switches. BROOKHIRST SWITCHGEAR, Ltd., and BUTTERWORTH, E. M. Aug. 6, 1954 [Aug. 13, 1953], No. 22315/53. Class 38(5) Dumb-bell shaped roller, contacts 14 carried by a slide 15 are arranged to bridge pairs of fixed contacts 11. The smaller centre-part of the contacts 14 engages a cam surface 19 so as to raise the contact-making faces from the insulating surface during movement of the contacts, and also to give a snap-action. The operating member of Specification 753,723 may be used.
