Classes 120(3) and 142(4) Terry or other uncut pile fabric has pile consisting of a core of synthetic stretch yarn surrounded by cotton or viscose staple fibre. The core is a continuous multifilament yarn (or may be a monofil) produced by twist, compression, or edge crimping, and may be of nylon 6 or 66, polyethylene terephthalate or polyacrylonitrile, or a mixture of nylon and polyester filaments; it may consist of two opposite torque yarns doubled together. Specification 636,682 is referred to.
