Abstract

1,228,505. Mixed fibre yarns. BURLING- TON INDUSTRIES Inc. 10 Feb., 1969 [5 March, 1968], No. 7109/69. Heading D1W. A yarn is spun from a blend of trilobal polyester fibres and wool fibres, the blend preferably containing 10-90% by weight of the trilobal polyester fibre. The yarn may be used to make woven fabric and may constitute 100% of the fabric or preferably 10-90% by weight of the fabric. The yarn may be in singles or plied form. Other fibres may be used in the fabric e.g. mohair, cotton, nylon or acrylic fibres.
