879,770. Suspending curtains. SCHEGGIA, E. Oct. 21, 1957 [Oct. 14, 1957], No. 32730/57. Addition to 845,107. Class 52(5). The curtain suspending assembly of the parent Specification is modified in that the clamping- means for the inner upper flange of the overlapping rail end 37 comprises tongues 33 formed out of the bridge member 27 and bent so as to permanently attach the bridge member to that rail end. The bridge member is also provided with downturned ends 27a, forming abutments for the rail ends, mounting tongues 27b, receiving a mounting bridge 36 for securement to a window lintel &c., and holes 35 for screws securing a clamping plate (not shown) which engages the inner upper flanges of the other overlapping rail end.
