Abstract

848,335. Suspending curtains. KUNA, J. Dec. 24, 1957 [Jan. 29, 1957], No. 3085/57. Class 52(5) Curtain rail sections 1 having runner tracks and integral attachment blocks 2 are joined end to end by interengaging sockets 3 and tongues 4. The sections are formed of brass or steel or moulded in plastic and have apertures 5, 6 for securing to a vertical or to a horizontal support, coincident apertures 7, 8 for passage of the fixing screws being provided in the tongue 4. In a modification and additional interengaging tongue and socket is formed in track-forming part of the rail and the blocks are embraced by a metal clamp. Attachment blocks may be provided intermediate the length of the rail sections.
