Abstract

635,439. Suspending curtains. FRENCH & SONS, Ltd., T., AINSLIE, J., FRENCH, R., and FRENCH, G. F. April 13, 1948, No. 10206. [Class 52 (v)] A curtain rail of the type having upper and lower flanges is formed of units in which the lower flanges are formed with complementary formations, the units being joined by connecting means engaging the upper flanges. As shown, the end of one unit a of a rail is shaped as a male V while the end of a second unit e is formed as a female V. The rails are joined by a connecting piece i. The ends of the rails may be formed in various complementary shapes. V notches may be cut in the upper flange to be engaged by the screws of the connecting piece.
