A master runner for overlapping curtains comprises a laterally cranked suspension bar 10 having a depending slotted web 12 supported from the rail by slides 21. The leading curtain hook 28 or runner engages the slot 16 and the second hook 29 engages in a hole 18 at the end of the bar and when the curtain is pulled back the hook 28 slides along the slot.
