Abstract
715,118. Suspending curtains. HANKIN, R. W., and OSBORNE, H. G. Feb. 8, 1952 [Feb. 24, 1951], No. 4543/51. Class 52(5) A curtain suspension device comprises a track 10 having a deep upper portion provided with a continuous open topped longitudinal groove 104 within which fit projections 111 of one-piece fixing brackets 11 the projections 111 having a cross-section corresponding to that of the groove 104. The lower part of the track is formed with a track chamber 103 to receive gliders 12 which depend through a slot 106 in the foot of the chamber. The track, fixing brackets, and gliders are formed of synthetic plastic material. End stops 14 are formed with projections 141, 142 to engage the upper longitudinal groove 104 and the track chamber 103 respectively. Valance brackets 16 and linking brackets 15 are provided with projections 161 and 151 to engage in the upper longitudinal grooves. Specification 715,150 is referred to.
