A bracket for flanged curtain rails comprises a box member a, with an extended bracket arm g the free end h of which is bent to form a ledge i for a curtain rail flange, and a movable clip k, with a hook j to support the other edge of the flange, secured to the bracket arm g by a screw (not shown). The screw passes through a vertical slot n in the part h of the bracket arm to allow the movable clip to drop downwardly in relation to the bracket arm and thus facilitate the reception of the rail.
