[Class 52 (v)] The top. bar 3 of a curtain rail 1 is grooved or recessed longitudinally to provide two sharp raised edges which are engaged by the curved upper clamping member 6 of a rail supporting bracket 9 so as to provide a four-point contact. The lower face of the top bar may also be recessed to provide sharp depending edges for engagement with the lower clamping member 7 of the bracket. The member 7 may be curved. Specification 492,115 is referred to.
