Abstract

512,119. Suspending curtains. BROCKHOUSE & CO., Ltd., J., and GARRAD, H. T. Jan. 20, 1939, No. 1980. [Class 52 (v)] A curtain support of the kind having runners engaging the interior of a tubular rail and projecting through a slot in the lower side of the rail is characterized in that the runners consist of plates 13 having balls 15 engaging the inner surface of the rail and having the upper edges sliding in an inverted parallel-sided channel 12 formed on the rail opposite the slot. The rail is supported by brackets having caps 19 for the rail and a slot 21 allowing the plates 13 full movement. Intermediate supports 22, Fig. 4, for the rail with or without a clamping screw 28 may be provided.
