Abstract

532,087. Curtain-rail supports. JOHNSON, F. A. L. Aug. 17, 1939, No. 23697. [Class 52 (v)] A support for a runner rail 2 comprises a forked member 6 secured to the window frame &c. and provided with an open sided slot 10 to receive one side of the rail flange, and a catch member 9 with side arms 15 pivoted to the fork by bent tongues 17 and formed with stops 20 to engage and hold the other side of the rail flange. The catch member preferably has a finger piece 19 adapted to snap below the rail flange, the arms of the catch being bent to give them resilience. The parts may be made from stamped blanks. As a modification the forked member may have projections engaging grooves in the rail.
