Abstract

485,699. Suspending curtains. SMITH, H. F. March 4, 1937, No. 6411. [Class 52 (v)] A curtain - supporting runner comprises a roller hollowed out at one side face, a pivot pin 12 projecting into the hollow, and a hanger 6 having its end portion projecting into the hollow to engage the pivot substantially above the rail 8 on which the roller runs. The roller may be formed by cutting out a block of metal or by pressing out a metal sheet. Each arm of the hanger may be provided with a similar roller if desired.
