Abstract

504,420. Glazing frames of shop fronts. HASKEL, J. I. May 9, 1938, No. 13799. [Class 20(iii)] Glass sheets particularly of large size are removably held against a fixed profile strip F by a movable strip I having a T-shaped end one limb of which rests in a groove K in the fixed strip while leaving a clearance between the part H and the fixed strip, the other limb being resiliently engaged by a leaf spring, G which presses the strip I against the glass. The glass is also engaged by V-shaped strip L, having a slotted base by which it is adjustably secured to the fixed strip F. The strip I is detached by tilting it out of contact with the spring G.
