Abstract
371,973. Suspending curtains. KERSHAW (MACHINE-MADE BRASSFOUNDERS), Ltd. and BURGESS, E. C., Highgate Street, Birmingham. Feb. 6, 1931, No. 3825. [Class 52 (v).] In a curtain runner of the kind consisting of a U-shaped frame one or each arm of which carries a separately formed pin on which a roller is mounted, the frame 16 is of shallow channel section and the pin or each pins 6 is without a head, so that the roller 8 thereon can move endwise. The roller or each roller is wider than the space between the end of the pin and the other arm of the frame or between the ends of the pins to prevent the roller or each roller leaving its pin In the construction shown in Fig. 4, the roller 18 is of hollow formation. The pins may be riveted or welded to the frames. According to the Provisional Specification the pins may be headed.
