Abstract

389,615. Suspending curtains. FARNELL, F., 2, Peel Street, Scarlet Heights, Queensbury, Bradford, Yorkshire. Jan. 23, 1932, No. 2144. [Class 52 (v).] Casement and like curtains having rods F1, F2 threaded through the upper and lower edges, are supported by means of upper and lower pairs of brackets A, which are provided with horizontal dished flanges for engaging the ends of the rods and are each secured to the window frame by means of a screw D entering a slot C in the vertical flange of the bracket to permit each bracket to be adjusted vertically to hold the curtain stretched in position. The upper rod F1 is adapted to rest in the horizontal flanges of the upper pair of brackets, and the lower rod F2 bears upwardly against the horizontal flanges of the lower brackets, which are arranged in inverted position relatively to the upper brackets.
