Abstract
492,581. Wardrobe trunks. MEYER, S. Jan. 12, 1938, No. 1080. Convention date, Oct. 12, 1937. [Class 18] In a wardrobe trunk, the clothes are folded over bars 5, Fig. 8, which are positioned in the trunk with the clothes hanging down by sliding the inturned ends 20 of the bars on to supporting rails 4a, Fig. 7. The latter may be secured to the vertical or horizontal walls of the trunk and may be of U-form, and two or three such rails either integral with or joined to each other can be employed. The inturned ends of the bars 5 may press resiliently on the clothes, the bars may rest in depressions in the rails 4a, and the latter may be adjustable in length. A central rail to accommodate hangers of other kinds can be provided.
