Abstract

621,930. Sliding doors. ELLARD, W. G., and CLARKE ELLARD ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. Feb. 6, 1947, No. 3574. [Class 20(iii)] [Also in Group XIV] A pelmet 12 for hiding the channel-shaped track 8 and runners 2 of sliding doors, screens, etc., comprises a sheetmetal strip 12 having its upper part bent into the shape of a channel 9 adapted to clip directly over the rail. The track is fixed to the wall by screws 7 and has an upper channel 9 in which run guide rollers 4. The channelshaped clip of the pelmet has a lip 13 adapted to spring into a groove 11 in the rear of the rail, the upper part of which is spread from the wall. The door &c. 1 has a groove engaging a guide block 16 fixed to the floor.
